I'm Mukhammadbobur Makhmarayimov — a chess photographer and FIDE Arbiter documenting the players, the tension and the quiet drama of the board.
Official tournament photography from the FIDE Grand Swiss, Uzchess Cup, Agzamov Memorial and across Uzbekistan.
A living archive of moments from the tournament hall — concentration, celebration and the geometry of the 64 squares.
Before the camera, there was the board. A rated player and licensed FIDE Arbiter who knows exactly when the decisive moment is about to happen.
Licensed by FIDE to arbiter rated competitions, Mukhammadbobur has officiated national championships and open tournaments across Uzbekistan — the same events he captures through his lens.
From a top-flight FIDE world event in Samarkand to local opens — these are the halls I've worked.

Born in 2004, Mukhammadbobur grew up inside the chess world of Uzbekistan — first as a player, then as a FIDE Arbiter. That insider's instinct is exactly what makes his photography different: he doesn't wait for the moment, he anticipates it.
Today he shoots the country's biggest events, from the FIDE Grand Swiss 2025 in Samarkand to the Uzchess Cup and the Agzamov Memorial — building an archive of nearly 400 published frames that document a generation of Uzbek chess.
